Last week Dylan returned to New Zealand as the last of our Kiwis. They all – Dyland McNice, Lee Greer and Tony Dodds – stayed with us for more then 3 months and competed very successfully in various races.
Dylan and Tony supported our 1. Bundesliga-Team, Lee started in the 2. Bundesliga and all contributed significantly to the success of our teams. In addition they competed in various national and international races including World Cup, and for sure in traditional Heinerman race in Darmstadt.
As a result Tony has been nominated by New Zealand National Team to compete in the World Cup Final in Australia in September.
First timer in Darmstadt Toni and Lee became friends to many of our DSW traithlets and Dylan renewed many contacts from the past. And we all enjoyed their barbeque party in July at the newly created DSW StartNet Ozeanien Base in Eberstadt.
We will not forget Michael Murphy from Australia who joined the team as well. Thanks as well to him.
Christiane, Daniel and Frank Simon hosted our friends at the Ozeanien Base and they have enjoyed as well the time with them and they already starting to prepare the Base for the return of the Kiwis in 2010.
Thanks again to Dylan, Tony, Lee and Michael. We wish all you all very successful season in Asia Pacific and the entire DSW StartNet-Team is looking forward to welcome you again in Darmstadt in early 2010.
